"My artistic work often involves collected or found objects. These items are the material for my projects or simply work as the well for inspiration for me. The act of reflecting the life that surrounds me, personal and universal, can also be the starting point of the working process. Lately I have also used the matter of chance as a working tool, which has lead to opening up surprising and new worlds.I enjoy keeping myself free to work in different media, letting the matter of subject affect the visual direction that I come to use. The process of finding visual and material solutions for these questions is an important part of my work. Often my ideas challenge me to work with techniques that I don't master, i.e. graphics, wallpaper printing and dressmaking. During my MA studies in 2008-10 I specialized in moving image, and found in this media a good and useful tool for expressing myself."
